Each booking is subject to a security deposit of £500.00. Two days prior to the booking start date a hold will be placed on your nominated card for this amount.
If you’d like to use a different card for the security deposit, you’re very welcome to update your payment details before the hold is applied.
This will be released 1 week after the booking end date, providing the vehicle is returned safely and in the same condition as it was at the start of the booking.
The release of your security deposit can sometimes be a bit tricky to spot. The deposit is not a charge on your account, but rather a hold or 'pending transaction'. After your trip, and once the owner is happy to release the deposit, the hold is dropped and the pending transaction disappears from your statement. This does not appear as a refund, you will just not be able to see the pending transaction anymore.
