Why has my payment failed?

A payment can fail for a few common reasons:

  • Insufficient funds available
  • Incorrect or expired card details
  • Your bank declining the transaction

If your balance payment is due and the automatic charge fails, we recommend contacting your bank first to ensure there are no restrictions on the payment.

You can then contact us to retry the payment or update your payment method.


If your booking is within 30 days of the hire start date, it’s important that the balance is paid promptly to avoid any risk to your reservation. If you’re experiencing difficulty, please get in touch as soon as possible and we’ll be happy to help.
