What do I do if there’s a problem during my trip?

If something in the campervan stops working during your trip, please contact the owner straight away.

Owners must be given the opportunity to resolve any issues while you’re on hire. In many cases, they may be able to talk you through a quick fix or provide guidance.

If the issue is mechanical or affects the safe use of the vehicle:

  • Contact the owner immediately
  • Follow their instructions
  • Use the breakdown cover provided at handover if advised

Please do not arrange repairs or replacements without the owner’s agreement (unless it’s an emergency and you’ve been unable to reach them), as this may affect reimbursement.

If the issue cannot be resolved and is significantly impacting your trip, please contact us during your hire period so we can assist and review the situation in line with our Booking Conditions.

Reporting issues as soon as they arise helps ensure the best possible outcome.
