Insurance & Document Requirements and Criteria

After booking you will receive a Driver Details Request email so that you can provide the required documentation for the campervan owner to arrange insurance for your trip. We recommend sending this one month prior to your hire start date so that documents can be reviewed.

If your booking starts within the next 90 days, this email will be sent out within 1 working day

If your booking is more than 90 days away, the email will be sent 90 days before your trip start date.

Details of the requirements are below, you can check which licences are accepted on your chosen campervan under the 'Insurance & Drivers' section on the campervan page. If your licence is not listed under this section please get in touch and we'd be happy to assist further.

Additionally, drivers should not have had their licence suspended for any period within the last 3 years, not been involved in more than one fault incident in the last 3 years, have no more than 2 convictions in total and no convictions of more than 3 points.
