How does insurance work?

Insurance is included in your booking and covers the campervan for the duration of your hire, provided all required driver documentation is submitted and approved before the trip begins.


Who arranges the insurance?

The campervan owner arranges specialist self-drive hire insurance through their chosen provider.


What does the insurance include?

Your booking includes:

  • Fully comprehensive insurance
  • Breakdown cover
  • Cover for approved drivers listed on the booking

Only approved drivers may drive the campervan.


What do I need to do?

After booking, you’ll receive a driver details email requesting the required information and documentation.

You must:

  • Complete the driver details form
  • Provide the requested documents
  • Ensure all drivers meet the insurance criteria listed on the campervan’s page

Insurance is only valid once documentation has been submitted and approved.
