I checked my customers driver form, and they don’t meet the insurance criteria, what do I do?

As per Alan Boswell’s insurance criteria, if the customer meets the below criteria they are covered as standard to drive your vehicle:

  • Age: between 23 and 75 years young.
  • Nationality*: UK, EU driver’s licenses.
  • Length held: Minimum 2 years.
  • Points*: Up to two minor offenses in the past 5 years is OK (no more than 6 points).
  • Claims*: No more than 1 claim in the past 5 years.

If your hirer does not meet these criteria, they will need to be referred to Alan Boswell.
