Amend as necessary to fit the scenario:
Hi XXXX
Thanks for getting in touch.
Generally speaking, we try to avoid removing any reviews as it can make our reviewing system seem disingenuous to customers and not a true reflection of what customers leave as feedback.
I completely understand why this review seems unfair, and is not reflective of your excellent customer experiences renting XXXX.
It is also worth nothing that with so many excellent reviews for XXXX, it does very little to change your rating. In fact, from our experience customers tend to be a little skeptical of reviews with only 5 stars as this seems a bit too good to be true!
I would also recommend replying to the review. This is a great way to give context to anyone who reads the review, and can see your point of view.
We can also move this review down the list so it is not the first review that is seen and I am confident that this will not affect future bookings for XXXX.
All the best,
