Why are some dates greyed out or marked with red lines on the calendar?
When viewing a campervan’s availability calendar, you may notice that certain dates appear differently. These indicators help show when the campervan can and cannot be booked.
Greyed-out dates
If dates are greyed out, this means the campervan is not available to book for those dates.
This may be because:
- The campervan is already booked
- The owner has marked the vehicle as unavailable
- The owner is not accepting bookings during that period
Greyed-out dates cannot be selected for pick-up or drop-off.
Dates with red lines
If you see dates with red lines across them, this indicates that the owner is unable to accommodate a pick-up or drop-off on those specific dates.
However, the campervan may still be available to hire either side of those dates.
For example:
- You may be able to collect the campervan before the red-lined date and return it after
- You may be able to start or end your trip on alternative nearby dates
These red-lined dates are typically due to owner availability restrictions rather than the campervan being fully booked.
