Security deposit reauthorisation after 30 days: Template to customer
Hi XXXX
I hope this finds you well.
I just had a look into this, and I can see that this additional charge of £500 is your security deposit hold, that was reauthorised today.
The reason why it was reauthorised today is because our payment processor can only place a hold or 'pending transaction' on your payment card for 30 days. After the 30 days, our payment processor needs to drop the hold, and reauthorise it, to continue keeping your £500 security deposit on hold. So the original security deposit authorised on the XXXX of XXXX was dropped, and a new one reauthorised.
I hope this helps, please let us know if you have any further questions
All the best
